Natural beech chippings. Perfect for most medium and large reptiles. Absorbent and heat retentive. Also suitable for birds, insects and arachnids.

This superb substrate is now commercially available in Slovakia. It has been widely used for years by professional snake breeders. Made from shredded Beech wood, it is especially good at absorbing odours and will also mop up almost twice its own weight of liquid. Being light and soft, it is pleasant to handle and safe for animals. Beech chips looks attractive and has a pleasant natural odour.
